Alleged images of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 4 were leaked ahead of its September announcement. GSM Arena posted on their website images that appear to be the Note 4 having the familiar design language of its previous Galaxy Note siblings. Visible in the images is a phone with textured leather-like back cover like the Note 3 but missing the stitching design. The front panel’s design is consistent with the previous Note models and no dramatic changes are noticeable. A presumed heart rate monitor can be seen at the back beside the camera lens. The bottom area has a microUSB 3.0 port together with the speaker grille. The side of the phone seems to be made out of a metal like material which is similar in appearance with another unannounced device the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. We’ll need to wait for the official confirmation, but this is probably the outcome of the previous announcement of Samsung to release phones made from premium materials.
Below are the images sourced from GSM Arena:
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is rumored to have a 5.7 inch display having QHD (1440×2560) resolution. It is expected to include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 or Samsung Exynos 5433 chipset as well as 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. An improved 13-megapixel or 16-megapixel shooter with optical image stabilization (OIS) may grace its back and 4-megapixel camera at the front. It will most likely include the fingerprint scanner that was introduced in its sibling the Galaxy S5.
Samsung’s official announcement will be held on September 3, 2014 which will be held simultaneously in the cities of Berlin, Beijing and New York.
