Latest reports from Korea points to the next generation of LG’s flagship LG G2 will feature a fingerprint scanner that is already in the market with Apple’s iPhone 5S and HTC’s One Max.
The emerging rumor for LG G3‘s fingerprint scanner was one like from the HTC One Max that will requires user to swipe his finger over the phone’s fingerprint sensor. Furthermore, compared to existing Apple’s fingerprint scanning process where you just need to place your finger on top of the button where the sensor is embedded and you don’t need to swipe your finger to unlock the phone.
According to anonymous official who are familiar with the matter, LG had just made a decision to include the fingerprint scanner on LG G3 and it’s currently in prototype stage. And like the Samsung Note 3, LG is building the G3 from ground up to support the LG G-Arch smartwatch and LG-Health fitness wristband.
THe LG G3 is expected to be ran by an octa-core processor with 5.5-inch IPS LCD display and 16-megapixel camera.
There’s the splendid G3 and wearable devices ahead of us from LG, and it’s expected to be unveiled during MWC 2014 at Barcelona. But if you can’t wait for G3 you can grab the LG G2 now, with or without contract.
