ZTE, a publicly-listed global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions has joined the tablet world with the release of its first own-branded tablet, the Light Tab 2 V9A. At an affordable price of only $310 it offers a lightweight design, 7-inch TFT LCD touch display, Android OS and a fast Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
ZTE Light Tab 2 V9A runs on the lower version Android 2.3 Gingerbread which makes it less interesting because most of the tabs on the market run on the latest Ice Cream Sandwich. Upgrade to ICS will sure makes this inexpensive tablet more competitive plus it already has a fast 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Adobe Flash Player support which allows for fast web browsing and no-lag video playing and streaming.
ZTE Light Tab 2 V9A measures 202 x 122 x 12.6 mm and weighs only 402g perfect for on-the-go users. Users can store pictures and videos taken from its 3MP rear-facing camera on its 4GB built-in memory or to its microSD card expandable to 32GB. While its 0.3MP front-facing camera allows for self-portraits photos and video chat. Fueled by a 3400 mAh Li-Ion battery users can watch up to two full-length movies uninterruptible with 5.5 hours of movie play on its 7-inch, 600 x 1024 pixels screen.
