New Cut the Rope: Experiments

Here’s a treat for all Cut the Rope addicts out there, if you already finished all of its fun-filled levels, ZeptoLab has brought us some more candy-filled adventures with the new Cut the Rope: Experiments still starring the cute and adorable Om Nom.

Cut The Rope Experiments

Like the previous version, Cut the Rope: Experiments groups content in boxes containing 25 levels each. Right now there are only 5 boxes to open but we can expect more to be added through the game updates (Bath Time: added February 2012). Anyway 125 of fun-filled levels are still enough to get you hooked with this game. The level packs include Getting Started, Shooting the Candy, Sticky Steps, Rocket Science, and Bath Time.

For newbies here is a quick mechanics of the game.  The object of each level is to maneuver a piece of candy into the mouth of a green cartoon monster called “Om Nom”. The candy hangs by one or several of the titular ropes which the player can cut with a swipe of their finger, and can also be manipulated through other objects including bellows and floating bubbles. Each level pack introduces new objects like rope guns, suction cups, rockets, and water. There are also some new characters, along with a new story line featuring commentary from the Professor.

The other objectives are to pick up to three stars per level by touching them with the candy, to keep the candy within the box, and to avoid spike and electricity hazards. Levels are scored with zero to three stars, according to how many the player picked up, and also with a point score depending on the number of stars collected and the time required for the completion of the level.

Players can also share on Facebook or post Scoreloop achievements and leader boards to compare their progress to other rope cutters around the world.

Cut the Rope: Experiment is now available on the Play Store and the Amazon App Store at $0.99
