Sprint Nextel together with LG will be releasing a new smartphone, the Viper 4G LTE which offers eco-friendly features without compromising speed and technology.

The new Viper 4G LTE features an eco-friendly charger with a no-load consumption rating of .03W exceeding the EC Code of Conduct on energy efficiency. While its casing which is made of 35 percent recycled plastics enclosed a dual-core 1.2GHz processor running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform. It also features a 5MP rear-facing camera for capturing high resolution photos and videos and a VGA front facing camera for video chat. Users can view those captured moments on the Viper’s crystal clear 4-inch WVGA NOVA display (480 x 800 pixels). It also supports Wi-Fi hotspot capability and cross-connectivity with DLNA-capable devices.

Sprint exclusively offers Sprint NBA Mobile on Android phones, this new custom app provides in-game and post-game video highlights, news, scores, stats and live home and away radio broadcasts to NBA fans. And because it is an Android phone, LG Viper 4G LTE allows users to access more than 400,000 contents in Android Market including apps, ringers, wallpapers, widgets and more.
