Vodafone 4G LTE network is almost ready with 2,000 base stations ready to power up 8.5 million subscribers that’s why together with HTC they will be introducing the first 4G LTE capable smartphone, the Velocity 4G LTE providing German citizens with higher data browsing and internet speeds.
The power of Vodafone’s 4G LTE network is complemented with HTC’s expertise in smartphone technology. The new HTC Velocity 4G runs on the lower version Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread OS but it’s cloaked under HTC Sense 3.5 UI with two Scorpion cores humming at 1.5GHz and 1GB of RAM.
It comes with a crystal clear and vibrant 4.5 inches super LCD qHD display and comes handy with an 8MP camera with autofocus and LED flash capable of recording 1080p videos. Users can take their self-portraits or video chat with friends through its 2MP front-facing camera. Users can also share contents from Velocity’s 16GB internal storage (with microSD slot expandable to 32GB) to a larger screen with their family and friends using its DLNA or MHL connectivity.
