Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro

Recently we’ve told you about the ultra-compact Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini celebrating the word “mini” on its build. Packing a slightly trimmed specs from its full-feat X10 basis. This time we got the Pro version of this mini, coming with elaborated path earlier suggested by two other versions of X10 –the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro. This too long name to memorize was a picture of miniature mobile phone sporting a hidden full-featured smartphone on its soul. Never the less, let’s talk around it after the break.

What happens when you trim the size, sometime the thickness suffer, however interestingly this chubby version of X10 hides a full-QWERTY keyboard on its back that will make you think it’s worth to sacrifice the form. Besides, knowing that it’s the smallest full-featured smartphone out there, user’s also have the luxury of ease whenever they’re in doubt on diving for fully-touch handsets. Check out some of its key features here:

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro key features:

  • Ultra compact body
  • Physical slide-out QWERTY keyboard
  • Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support, 3G with HSPA
  • Customized Android OS v1.6 with Timescape UI
  • 2.55″ capacitive touchscreen of QVGA resolution
  • Qualcomm MSM7227 600 MHz CPU
  • 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and VGA video recording
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g
  • Built-in GPS receiver and digital compass
  • Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and turn-to-mute
  • Standard miniUSB port for charging and data
  • Stereo Bluetooth
  • microSD card slot with support for up to 8GB (a 2GB card included)
  • 3.5mm-compatible audio jack
  • Android market
  • User-replaceable battery (as opposed to the X10 mini)

There’s a little down line for its QVGA resolution that’s make it incompatible to some apps. It might be running the Android 1.6 on default but the Android Froyo is ready for upgrade. The camera interface is a little basic to what we expect, but this is not a camera phone so we can digest that. All in all, if you’re looking for sleek mini, X10 mini pro deserves a look.

More than this highlight, we also got a full specification for the Pro, just below.
