Android to command 39-percent of tablet market by 2012

Analysts from Piper Jaffray claims that Android tablets have a very strong chance of dethroning the the iPad in its established top position in the tablet market. Accordingly, the Android will take a healthy slice of the tablet market up to 39-percent by 2012. We can see how this going on, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Dell Streak 7, and Asus Eee Pad MeMO have joined the relentless battle in the fast-growing tablet market. The scene opt for one to many, or possibly to two device from Apple when iPad 2 arrives.

We see a great possibilities here, but we can take this with grain of salt –prior to Apple’s power to control the hype with each new product, the company’s marketing prowess was superb if you’re watching it closely. Now do you believe that Android tablets can surpass iPad in the coming years. We didn’t want to cross our fingers, but we wish a fair fight.
